The Utah state highway patrol reported that 4 people have died and all others on board were injured when a tour bus crashed near Bryce Canyon National Park.
It appears that the tour bus was carrying Chinese nationals.
According to the highway patrol, 12-15 people suffered very critical injuries, and all people sustained some sort of injury.
There were 30 people on board including the driver when the bus rolled over on highway SR-12, also known as State Route 12 or Scenic Byway 12.
This stretch of highway is popular with tour buses as it is known as “Highway 12 — A Journey Through Time Scenic Byway” – a state highway designated as an All-American Road.
Air ambulances and rescue crews were at the scene at SR-12 which is currently closed in both directions, about 3.5 miles west of Bryce Canyon National Park, which remains opened.
